From the West Side of Manhattan: Take the FDR Drive North (which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway) to the Saw Mill River Parkway, exiting at the Taconic State Parkway. Continue following directions from Taconic Parkway, below.

From the East Side of Manhattan: Take the East Side Drive to the Deegan Expressway. Follow signs for “Upstate,” Route 87N, New York Thruway. Take exit 7A, and follow signs for the Taconic Parkway. Continue following directions from Taconic Parkway, below.

From Queens and Long Island: After the Triboro Bridge and toll booth, stay to the left and follow signs to the Deegan Expressway. Follow signs for “Upstate,” Route 87N, New York Thruway. Take Exit 7A on 87N, and follow signs for Taconic Parkway. Continue following directions from Taconic Parkway, below.

From the Taconic Parkway: Stay on the Taconic Parkway until the Route 23, Hillsdale exit. Continue on 23 East to Great Barrington, Mass. where Routes 23   7 intersect. At this point turn left onto 7 North, continuing on Route 7 for approximately 7 miles. At Stockbridge Center, where Routes 7 and 102 intersect, turn left onto Main Street/Route 102 and Taggart House is 5 houses West on the left

From New Jersey: Take the New York Thruway to the Berkshire Spur, Exit 21A, then take Exit B3, Route 22. Follow the signs to Route 102. Take 102 East through West Stockbridge onto Main Street in Stockbridge. Taggart House is 6 houses past the Town Hall on the right.

From Boston: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike, Route 90 West to Exit 2, Lee. Take a left onto Route 102 and follow West into Stockbridge Center. Taggart House is 5 houses past the intersection of Route 102 and Route 7 South, on Main Street/Route 102.
